Q:Why are there only 4K and 1080P resolution options in Standalone Mode, but a 720P option is available when the camera is connected to a computer?
A:In USB mode, the resolution switch function allows you to adjust the native resolution sent to the meeting software on your computer. Many popular meeting applications only support transmission at 720p or lower resolutions, so we've provided options for 720p, as well as 4K and 1080p to accommodate these limitations.
In Standalone mode, the resolution setting you change affects the quality of the locally recorded video using the Camera Tool. We aim to deliver the best possible image quality to our users, recommending higher resolutions like 4K or 1080p for recording. Therefore, we do not suggest using 720p for in-camera recording at this time.
